Pair of BLACK LED headlights to fit defender models from 1983 to present. E MARKED AND DOT APPROVED! These have a longer lifespan than others at 30,000 hours compared to 10,000 with many others. These are a plug and play unit with H4 connector requiring no extra wiring to fit and work straight away. These are for RHD UK specification Defenders and have a black inside which makes these look superb when fitted. LED chip: CREE 0W IP67 CCT: 6000K. (this means the light is white/cool as oppose to warm/yellow). Life span: 30,000Hours Bezel: Black. We have been testing these out and had them fitted for over a year now to our own defender which we use mostly on the road and a friends defender who uses it mostly off road and they have performed without fault and really been a transformation both in the looks of the land rover and also the light output at night. The Low beam puts out 2300 Lumens and the high beam 3200 Lumens. Unlike other cheaper made LED headlights these do put out an output to match or exceed those of the much more expensive branded items such as the JW speaker or Trucklite. Also you will notice the lower projector lens is much larger than the upper one, this is for the main beam and is exactly the same as the JW speaker ones where as cheaper made items use the same smaller lens for both the low beam and main beam which means greatly reduced output and span of light on main beam. The front lens is a tough polycarbonate lens so will not shatter if water its it etc which is an issue with glass versions. They are sealed to IP67 standard and can actually be submerged in water and still work perfectly an not fill up with water. These can be used on both 12v and 24v Land rovers and draw 3 amps at 12v and 1.5 amps at 24v and are manufactured by an ISO:9001 approved and CE certified company which is another reason we are confident in putting our name to these items. All larger items such as bodypanels etc will be delivered by Citylink which is a next day courier service however due to the fragility of some of these items please appreciate we may take a day or so to package these items correctly to minimise the chance of damages. 3 In the unlikely event that a wrong item is received, please return the item to us within 7 days of receipt and we will send the correct item free of charge and all return costs will be covered.
